What we can help with

KilowattKit is a small independent team building free home energy calculators. We're always glad to hear from you about:

  • • Calculator errors — a result that looks wrong. Include the calculator URL, the inputs you used, and the figure you expected, so we can reproduce it.
  • • Outdated rates or data — spotted a stale energy rate or source? We update from official regulators (EIA, Ofgem, NRCan, AER) and welcome the heads-up.
  • • New calculator ideas — a tool you wish existed. Many of ours started as reader suggestions.
  • • Partnership or media enquiries — embedding our calculators, citing our data, or press.

What we can't do

We can't give personalised financial, tax, or energy-switching advice, and we can't access or change your utility account — our tools produce estimates to help you understand your own numbers. For account or billing issues, please contact your energy supplier directly.
